Help - Water Filter Pressure

I'm hoping someone can answer this question. When we are camping with full hook ups from time to time I will install my external, in-line water filter. The problem is super low water pressure from the showerhead, sink faucet etc. Can some one tell me how to solve this. My wife complains about the low pressure especially when taking a shower....

RE: Locks for Ramp Latches

Security is trying to keep them out so it not easy for them to get in.The latches on Toy Hauler are a weak link to..! My buddy had the hockey pucks locks but the left them and cut the latch.Just don't leave your bikes unsecured. I've seen more th's broken into by cutting the lock than by prying off the latches or cutting them. If they want to get in they will, nothing will stop them, only slow 'em down. Typically they will pass by the more difficult.

RE: Locks for Ramp Latches

We use the master puck style lock on our WW, they are keyed alike. I've seen too many th's get broken into while being stored to think about anything less. Occasionally we use combo locks when camping just in case we get locked out. But we just recently bought a Masterlock key lockbox that we can hang on the entry door handle with an extra key inside in case we lose 'em during a ride.

RE: WW table mod

We had 2 custom tables made for our WW CL. They fit in the stock location, on the stock legs and are much, much larger than the stock ones. We were able to pick out whatever color formica top we wanted. If interested pm me, I'll give you the contact info. well worth the money, imo. http://www.irv2.com/photopost/data/555/medium/Resize_DSC03685.jpg http://www.irv2.com/photopost/data/555/medium/ReSize.jpg

RE: Air Condioner Freezing Up....

Wow !! lotsa swell advice here. Thanx. I did go out yesterday and turn the unit on, it was about 3:30 pm & 101 degrees out. I backed off the thermostat/temp setting about 1/4 or so from the coldest setting. I let it run about 5 1/2-6 hrs. without a problem. It's never been able to do that. It seemed to freeze up rather quickly. I am going to try it again over the next few days to see if it continues to work or go back to freezing up. Just an f.y.i.

RE: Air Condioner Freezing Up....

What a cause/cure for poor airflow? I kind of remember the dometic "tech" mentioning something about airflow, but never told me a cause/cure. I'll check the filters also. I'm gonna go out back right now and try backing off on the setting a bit and see how that works.

Air Condioner Freezing Up....

Dometic Brisk Air 15k btu. Non-ducted Can someone tell me what the possible causes may be for my a/c freezing up? Dometic won't give me any suggestions & want me to have a service guy come out. It's done it since pretty much when I installed it. It's a 2nd a/c located in the bedroom of our 5er, WW. thanks.

Fire Pit

Can anyone tell me if you need to "modify" a washer tub in any way to become a fire pit. It may sound strange(or a stupid question) but I thought I saw somewhere that it was suggested, to add legs, and/or holes (or make them larger). I don't see any tubs used as fire pits where we camp to get any ideas. Thanks.

RE: Anyone that can help move my trailer in Temecula

Wow Bill - I'm sorry to hear about your truck. Who'd have thought a big TV would be a target for theft in this market? I wonder if your auto insurance would pay for a tow? Check your policy for your truck and your trailer and see what your towing coverage is. A lot of policies are surprisingly liberal with tow bills. Good luck with the replacement. Good idea. But have you seen how some of these tow truck drivers work? I wouldn't trust any with mine unless an emergency.

RE: Coachmen Blast or Kaddy Kruiser

IMO, don't buy the Carson. You'd be happier buying a used trailer for the same money. They are cheap because they are built cheap.

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

I was on the phone with Missy at McMahon's RV in SoCal yesterday and she told me that she had received a fax from citizen (Not sure of the complete name) which is a leading lender in rv loans. The fax advised her that they would no longer be offering finacing on Warrior products. It went on to explain why... 1- They are going out of business 2- resale value is expected to plumet All rv value's are dropping, have you read the trader lately? I'd blame it on the economy. I'm not at all saying ww's may not drop more, but ww does have some floorplans & models other mfg's don't. Obviously what you posted does make some sense, from a banks point of view. I expect boat prices to plummet also once the summer is over.

RE: Toy Hauler for Formula Car

Needs: 1. Haul 650 lb formula car (need minimum 12' full width garage) They don't make 12' width. 8 1/2' (102") is the widest you can go without getting a wide load permit, then you'll need a pilot car also (follow veh). If you mean 12' long, they're are a ton of mfg's that make a 12' garage, if a garage is what you want. Personally I wouldn't get a garage, I'm on my 3rd th, none have had garages, and never wished I had one. Because once you get to where your going and unload, you have a lot more living area.

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

When you're running a business that is struggling with possible failure, you try to continue running it the best that you can, in hopes that it doesn't fail. If you just give up and stop running the business or run it as if it's going to fail anyways, you seal your fate. Sounds like they did what they could to stay afloat, fighting to the very last day, but came up short in the end. I hear you. But it just seems odd they would try and enter another market if "the writing was on the wall". I guess I just keep hoping it ain't so.

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

The thing is we have not heard anything "officially", not that we probably would from a company that no longer exists, possibly. We all know anybody can post anything claiming to say someone they are not. Who knows. The thing that gets me is, if ww saw this coming for some time now, as it seems they did. Why did they continue to come out with new stuff? The carbon lite, a conventional rv trailer, a nice looking unit. I also heard they came out with a slide out in the garage area of the th's. And why(?) would they say no warranty work until Sept? Or make this guys appt in Dec?

RE: WW Repairs

Seems to me the banks and other creditors should get paid before the lawyers. But I guess not much is fair.

RE: Fresh Water Tanks

I'd be careful about adding too much support after the mfg's. The water tank needs room to expand while filling. Yes, it should have an air vent, but they still tend to expand somewhat. My buddy cracked the floor in his trailer, put a nice size hole in it, because the tank expanded upwards against the floor, not down where there was room for it to expand.
